Last night I had a dream about a woman who was so concerned with what was transpiring around her and what others were doing that it affected her attitude, her perception and her heart. Her actions reflected her wounded soul. She complained and judged those around her. You can see the stress and brokenness in her eyes. I remember saying to this woman "Come, let us praise the LORD" as I extended my hands toward hers. She resisted AND PULLED AWAY. Yet, I DREW closer and SAID "Praise is your breakthrough!"
I don't want to focus on the issues/strongholds this dream may represent for many women. However, I do want to focus on the revelation given in it.
In this dream the LORD revealed a strategy to counterattack distraction, discouragement, and disillusion which follows when your eyes are focus on others and what's happening around you rather than on God:
PRAISE
Do you know that praise is a weapon of warfare!
In 2 Chronicles 20, war was waged against Jehoshaphat. He was afraid yet he turned to the LORD. Check out what he did next:
"When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the LORD and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Give thanks to the LORD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.”
When they began singing and praising, the LORD set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed." (verse 20 emphasis added)

Not only were they set free but those around them!!!
Regardless of the war you are facing, whether its internal, physical, mental, financial, relational or spiritual - PRAISE THE LORD!
If you are struggling, feel stuck and want to break out of the funk and prison walls victoriously - Lift up your eyes to the LORD and Praise Him!
